Wine tours in Valparaiso, Casablanca Valley
Influenced by the sea and situated close to the coastal mountain range, the Casablanca Valley in the 5th region has a very unique climate, which produces a slow maturing of its grapes.The region is well known for its production of cool climate wines, such as Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. It also produces cool climate red wines like Pinot Noir, Merlot and Syrah.
1.- Half Day Casablanca Valley (4hrs)Wine tasting and tour in two well known vineyards.
Casablanca valley is well known for top quality wines, many of which you will enjoy during this great excursion. You will travel out of Valparaiso and into the Casablanca Valley, the youngest Chilean viticulture area which boasts a perfect trilogy: climate, soil and vine.
2.- Full day Casablanca Valley and Neruda’s houseWine tasting and tour in two well known vineyards plus Neruda’s house in Isla Negra.
Casablanca valley is well known for top quality wines, many of which you will enjoy during this great excursion. You will travel out of Valparaiso and into the Casablanca Valley, the youngest Chilean viticulture area which boasts a perfect trilogy: climate, soil and vine. After the wine tasting and tour you’ll travel to the village Isla Negra, located on the coast between Valparaiso and Santiago. Neruda enjoyed a great fortune and spent it mainly on the very human pursuits of travelling, collecting and entertaining. Overlooking the sea, Isla Negra was an escape from the bustle of Santiago and a writing retreat. The house today contains many of his personal belongings, antiques, and his eclectic collections of nautical items - most notably ship mastheads, indigenous masks, and antique glassware.
3.- Full day Casablanca ValleyThis is a cool climate valley where they stand out for amazing whites, and Pinot Noirs, as well as Syrah and Merlot; however, recently, this valley has been going under experiments by important vintners and winemakers, making the production of Malbec and Cabernet Franc possible as well.
On our tour, we like to bring the best out of this valley; we start out by visiting INDOMITA, where you will get to taste their Duette Special Reserve line, which include their Savignon Blanc, their Carmenere and a very nice blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere and Merlot (50% + 25% + 25% Blend).
Next is Viña HOUSE. This exquisite vineyard offers a delicious lunch in its winery, where you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings, tasty Souvignon Blancs and Chardonay's.

4.- Casablanca Valley Wine Shuttle
We invite you to come with us to the wineries at a low cost, in a way that it allows for you to meet people, share experiences, and of course, drink some great wine.
Why and how does it work?
Many tour companies will charge what you may consider to be a large sum of cash for taking you out on a private tour to the wineries, which is great if you like to have private tours; however, what happens to those travelers who are on their own? What about those people that meet at their hostal or hotel and want to go to the countryside, but their budget is not that large to be taking private tours?
At each winery, you can either buy one of their tastings, buy a glass at their restaurant (for those wineries that have a restaurant) or even split a bottle with your new friends/ fellow travelers, so you can take your glass, sit back, and enjoy of the scenery.
